We are not Fire based EMS so it would have been more beneficial and realistic to have 1 medic only, or 1 medic and 1 firefighter together in command, not just FD.

The computer simulations. For RTF if we could do a hand on training and/or actually having to assess vitals and come up with correct tag color I think it would be more beneficial. The boards were great though.

Have further emphasis on stopping the dying. It focused heavily on LE neutralizing the threats. Also there were many times I was assigned to a crew that ended up doing nothing. Reunification and how to place EOC requests should be further focused on.

Gaining an understanding of traige/transport and relation to staging/command. Learning the differences in responsibilities between the designiated areas of command to facilitate timely and organized responses.

The major focus on rolls of law enforcement made EMS feel more like an after-thought.

Inclusion of EMS as opposed to Fire. Understanding that the majority of the nation combines EMS and Fire, I realize why the program focuses more on Fire, but in this area we are very seperate and EMS would lead Fire, not the other way as this program dictates.
