As a patrol assignment, I was never in any position besides contact, RFT, or perimeter. It would have been beneficial to be in other positions and leadership roles.

Computer sims were valuable but had significant limitations as well.

No hands on, unrealistic simulations. Two firefighters can not feasibly pick up two patients and carry the out to a AEP in one minute.

Lots of strategic value but but limited RTF tactics. In drilling AS events numerous times we have found that if the RTF does utilize a systematic approach, pt's will be missed. Bouncing from LE intel from one location to the next will create missed pt's.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Hands on evolution's, TCCC is a must.
