The simulations were a great way to apply what we learned. The simulations could have been more user friendly and realistic.

Get better simulations by using the gaming industry to assist with the simulations.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Being in command and acting out the different positions involved with an active shooter. The instructors were some of the best I have had in 28 years in law enforcement.

The practical application and table tops were great.

Initially, I thought the contact team application would be outside my responsibilities as an administrator. However, the instructors did a great job covering why an understanding and application of all of these will provide value to all LE.

The instructors were very knowledgeable and presented the material in a very digestible and constructive manner.

Internal training related to active threat as well as training with our FD.

Since I have very little experience in this field it was all valuable. However, the case studies and the practical exercises were most valuable since they put the instruction in perspective.

To continue training in active shooter and to work on getting some of this training implemented into my agency's policies regarding this.
