I felt the talking points regarding things to be aware of during an incident was the most useful. As a dispatcher it helps me to understand what may happen at an active shooter incident.

Learning about previous incidents around the country and how those responses were handled. I appreciate dispatch being included and given an active role in activities.

The simulations.

Separate from the course, I was disappointed how the response to the weather was handled. It was unnecessary to postpone class both days. The classroom environment was beyond freezing which created a barrier to learning.

How dispatch can respond and be assistance in these types of situations.

Scenarios were very beneficial, also discussing the others roles and point of views. Always a plus to see what the 1st responders experience and are exposed to.

I am thankful that dispatch was included in this training. While our role appears to be small, it is not in real life. It is also great to see the FD and Law do their best to work together.

I've got nothing. The instructors were great and I'm happy the DEM put this together.

You should have a specific tactical dispatch course with real dispatchers.
