Some of the virtual aspects are unrealistic (no cell phone use, ability to move very quickly and get distanced from team).

Dealing with the radio traffic which is realistic.

The debrief with students talking ONLY because the speakers were not loud enough for those of us with years of sirens and decreased hearing.

Make sure the students speak effectively into the microphone. Many were soft spoken.

I think there needs to be some type of way to separate each station better. Either a screen or something so that you are not operating so closely. The radio traffic on scene is key for communication. That is really the only thing that needs to be focused on overall.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

After action reports would be good and maybe seeing the public debriefing and the scene play out also.
